Conference on the air connectivity in Indianocéanie, 2-3 May in Port Louis

The road map adopted during the conference on the regional air transport of 2nd and 3rd May 2013 announces the decision to cause a ministerial meeting of the Ministers responsible for the civil aviation and for the tourism during the course of the year. The conference held in Port Louis thus establishes the preliminary phase of the coming ministerial meeting because it will belong to the decision-makers to take the necessary measures for the refoundation of the regional air transport.
The air connectivity participates in the sustainable economic development of our economies being confidentially connected to the tourism sector and more and more in the industries of import and export.
The competitiveness of the member countries of the IOC will have to be able to rest on an intra-regional air connectivity and with the vastest solid world, frequent and low-priced. The possible options are multiple and were discussed during two days of conference. It is thus a question of refining the proposals with the support of the professionals of the civil aviation, the tourism, the industries of import-export, and the international and partner organizations in the development.
